Earlier this year, London Civic Forum conducted a research project on London's transport needs, identifying the public's issues of concern in relation to transport services and travelling in and around London.

A questionnaire was sent to 300 member organisations that had expressed an interest in transport issues and a version of the survey was made online. The questionnaire covered the following areas:

  • cycling
  • walking
  • road users
  • safety
  • consultation and enagement
  • investment in public transport
  • availability of transport
  • disability access

The results of this survey helped to shape London Civic Forum's 'Keeping London Moving' event, held in partnership with Transport for London. This event aimed to provide participants with an opportunity to find out about the Mayor of London's transport vision as detailed in his recent 'Way to Go' document and Transport for London's business plan.
