The objective of the panel is to give individual children an opportunity to voice thier opinions on issues which matter to them. The panel aims to 'get their (its members) views and opinions and let them have their input into things so that it's taken into account when decisions are made.' The panel specifically focuses on children and young people aged 5- 19 (up to 25 for young people with a disability).
London Civic Forum has produced a case study of the Redbridge Children's Adivsory Panel, highlighting its unique contribution to improving the empowerment of children and young people across the country. To download this case study, please click here.
