The Lynk Up Crew is for young people aged 7-15. It currently has around 20 members of whom about 15 at any one time attend their monthly Saturday meeting at City Hall. The Peer Outreach team's objective is to engage other young Londoners, adults and practitioners in working with young people on issues of concern to young people.
The Lynk Up Crew's objectives are to:
- give advice to the Mayor of London and other adults in charge about the best way to listen to young Londoners.
- Make sure Londoners get to know how children and young people are helping make London better
London Civic Forum have produced a case study of the Lynk Up Crew, highlighting its uniqe contribution towards improving the empowerment of young people across the capital. To download a this case study, click here.
